Description
Originally designed in 1946, the Nakashima Splay-Leg Centre Table reflects George Nakashima’s mastery of grain, form, and proportion. The reverse slip-matched cathedral grain on the walnut or hickory veneer top allows the table to face either direction, offering design flexibility. Angled solid walnut legs are joined with traditional mortise-and-tenon joints and secured with brass hardware, delivering strength and elegance in equal measure. Marked by a signature plate beneath the tabletop, this heirloom-quality centrepiece is manufactured by Knoll and embodies the enduring spirit of handcrafted modern design.
